FIRST FLOOR
This loft is furnished with an iron grain warehouse, which serves as a mixing boiler.
An archimedean screw, in the centre of the boiler, is operated from above:
electrically or driven by the wind.
Furthermore, there is also a wooden storage section present on the beam, the "kaar".
The capacity of which exceeds 1 000 kg. The remaining space accommodates storage stock for the shop.
During the second world war one could find, beneath the beams under the floor, various hiding places for smuggled wares,
eggs, butter and coffee. During this period, there were also people in hiding present in the mill. There was also a receiving station for "Radio Oranje".
